The following picture, taken from my office’s window on the 4rt floor, shows how depending on the angle, it looks like the city is built in a forest. Early in the morning, we can often hear birds singing over here. ![enter image description here][1] We also have a couple of good and big parks inside the city, which are well preserved. They provide us the same services as said before, plus a cultural service, since they are very nice places to spend the time. They provide a huge permeable area, which also helps preventing floods on urban space. ![enter image description here][2] "Parque Municipal", a local park (taken from Google). Unfortunately, I am not aware of any kind of provisioning services within the urban area, since most of the food come from the hinterland.
