1. Fresh Water: Bangalore has the Cauvery River flowing nearby which provides fresh water not only to state of Karnataka but also to the state of Tamil Nadu as well. Apart from the Cauvery, Borewells are dug throughout the city and get freshwater. This underground water table is decreasing day by day! The thippagondanahalli reservoir also provides lot of freshwater to the city after processing.
