I'm living in Isfahan, a metropolitan area in Iran. When I travel to countryside of Isfahan like Chadegan, it is perceptible cooling of temperature. for example now the temperature of Isfahan is 11 C and Chadegan is 7 C. As well as pollution in Isfahan is very obvious, statistics of cancer and other respiratory disease are best proof of it. In my opinion in this images, congestion of cars in narrow streets and compression of buildings, lack of green roofs are reasons of UHI in Isfahan. ![enter image description here][1] ![enter image description here][2] In the image of Chadegan, every thing is obvious. ![enter image description here][3] **3. Which are the measures you would propose?** For Isfahan with old structure, I think best way to reduce UHI is green roof, and change asphalt ways to paying. **4.
