Q2- Where are the dominant fossil fuels mainly used for in your country? The main fossil fuels used are, oil (195.3 Mtoe), Gas (130.3Mtoe), which make up over half of the total (513.4Mtoe) produced, which are mainly exported, the use within the country is mostly within the production of the fossil fuels or for transportation (for oil), or for residential use ( natural gas). Q3-It is your task to create a new policy in order to improve the environmental friendly and sustainable sources and consumption of energy of your country. How would you do that? Think of how you can improve the sources and the consumption of energy. Most energy produced from fossil furels is exported, so I would look at introducing a policy that looks to alternative environmentally friendly exports to help the economy stay stable but looks to exporting clean energy. Then the next step would be to introduce policies that help reduce the use of fossil fuels in the transportation sector. A large use of fossil furels in the country are cars, I believe this may be because the road networks are far more developed than the rail is. I would look to increase the infrastructure spending on railways, connecting more areas with railways and improving current transport systems, which can use electric clean energy. Introducing better cycling options within the city to reduce car use would also help. ![canada sanky balance diagram 2013][1] ![canada sanky final consumption diagram 2013][2] [1]: [2]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14495197369686001.png [3]: http://
