**2. Which are the main UHI effects that you can identify in your area?** The difference between urban and rural areas here is not obvious. Wide streets, location on two banks of the Volga river, low density, low-storey (mostly) houses, strong winds both in summer and in winter and a big amount of green plantation are not supposed to make a strong UHI effect. Which are the measures you would propose?** I hope the density and the way of planning of our city will stay the same in future. But it would be good to free the city centre from high traffic. **4.
