2. The main UHI effects in my city are the large commercial buildings, asphalt roads and lack of tree cover. The measures I would propose, would include the following: a) Increase more urban green to mitigate the UHI. Plant more broad leaf trees and also create more pedestrian walkways with greened road islands b) Observe building setbacks inorder to allow for ease of low of the winds thus cooling the city 4. Currently there are no policies concerned with the UHI
